Energy Performance standard is the Home Energy Rating System (HERS), developed by the Residential Energy Services Network (RESNET).

If you want to rate your home for over all energy efficiency, you may now have an auditor or rater examine your home. The report will prioritize upgrades and examine costs and paybacks. To find a RESNET accredited auditor got to www.natresnet.org

Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill are proud members of the US Building Council supporting the Green initiative for earth friendly, building  sustainable design and living.  NC Green Power also provides a clean renewable energy  program for companies
